Seven islands in seven days is possible but wrong-headed: our route takes four, slowly. We leave from Lipari, anchor overnight off Panarea, head up to Salina for water and malvasia, and reach Stromboli in the late afternoon.
In the evening we hold position off the Sciara del Fuoco with the engine off and watch the explosions. Boat and skipper are included; the crew needs no experience, though anyone who has some can take the helm.
What makes this trip special
- Night swim off Panarea
- Malvasia tasting on Salina
- Stromboli from the sea at sunset
